Tamil Nadu Government Simplifies Registration Process for Private Hospitals

The Tamil Nadu government has approved reforms to simplify the registration and renewal process for private hospitals under the Tamil Nadu Clinical Establishments (Regulations) Rules, 2018. The changes address challenges such as cumbersome application fields, repetitive document submissions, and technical issues with the online portal. Recognised accreditations from national and international bodies will now suffice for registration, enabling digital auto-verification and issuance of certificates to reduce administrative delays.
