A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official and a videographer on election duty were assaulted in Mumbai. The incident occurred when the flying squad, including Suresh Rathod and Dheeraj Panchal, stopped a vehicle. When Panchal began recording the vehicle as per election protocol, the driver, Iftekhar Ahmed, allegedly assaulted them and fled. Ahmed has been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for obstructing a public servant.
