Shami, a registered voter in Kolkata, described the process as smooth and harmless, urging citizens to participate and correct their details. His brother, Mohammed Kaif, was also summoned. Shami missed an earlier hearing due to cricket commitments but expressed willingness to cooperate with authorities.
