
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the construction of the state's first Women's Sports College in Lohaghat, Champawat district, a project costing around Rs 256 crore. The college will feature international-standard sports facilities, including grounds for football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, and athletics, along with residential and academic infrastructure. Dhami emphasized timely completion and quality standards, highlighting the institution's role in supporting talented female athletes, especially from rural and hilly areas. Union Minister Ajay Tamta accompanied the visit.
