
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the construction of the state's first Women's Sports College in Lohaghat, Champawat district, being built at an estimated cost of Rs 256 crore. The project includes international-standard sports facilities such as football, hockey, volleyball, basketball courts, and an athletic track, along with a hostel for 300 girls and academic buildings. Dhami emphasized timely completion and quality standards, highlighting the college's role in supporting talented female athletes, especially from rural and hilly areas.
