The survey highlights India's desire for strategic autonomy and leadership within the Global South. While unemployment (19.3%) and environmental pollution (14.1%) are top domestic concerns, 28% support India's leadership role globally. The US is seen as the military leader, with China and the EU as emerging economic powers. Over half prefer a social market economy, and 50.4% suggest reconsidering India's stance on the Non-Aligned Movement.
