Ahead of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) polls, the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition has fractured. The two factions of the NCP have allied, while the Congress will contest independently. The Shiv Sena (UBT) has formed an alliance with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), reportedly accommodating some BJP and Sena leaders. This comes after the BJP and Shiv Sena failed to unite, and the Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) could not reach an agreement.
