Tripura Assembly to Hold Budget Session from March 13 with Three New Bills

The Tripura Legislative Assembly's nine-day Budget session will run from March 13 to 25, beginning with Governor N Indrasena Reddy's address. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy will present the 2026-27 state Budget on March 16, alongside revised estimates for 2025-26. Three bills—establishing Tripura University of Health Sciences, a Technical University, and a Women's University—will be introduced. Discussions will include the Governor's address and Budget debates, with the session concluding on March 25. The assembly continues without a new Speaker following the late Biswa Bandhu Sen's passing.
