Defence Ministry Rejects Tamil Nadu's Hosur Airport Proposal Citing Airspace Concerns

The Tamil Nadu government's proposal to establish an international airport in Hosur has been declined again by the Union Ministry of Defence due to airspace control by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The project, planned to handle 30 million passengers, faces hurdles over defence clearances. Officials expressed disappointment over the rejection without detailed discussions.
