A loco train collision inside the Pipalkoti tunnel of the under-construction Vishnugad-Pipalkoti hydropower project in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, injured 88 people. The accident occurred when one loco train carrying workers collided with another coming from the opposite direction. Most of the injured were labourers, with officials stating none were in serious condition. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered proper treatment for all injured.
