US Ambassador Sergio Gor Engages with Indian Leaders to Enhance Cooperation and Trade

US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, recently appointed and having presented his credentials to President Droupadi Murmu, visited Mumbai to strengthen US-India ties. He met Reserve Bank of India Governor Sanjay Malhotra to discuss enhanced cooperation, especially in technology, and held talks with Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on trade, investment, and strategic partnerships. Gor highlighted ongoing trade discussions and India's upcoming invitation to join the US-led Pax Silica initiative focused on semiconductors and critical supply chains.
