Former Mizoram and Puducherry Governor M.M. Lakhera Dies at 88
Lieutenant General (Retd) M.M. Lakhera, former governor of Mizoram and Puducherry, passed away at age 88 in Dehradun after recent hospitalization. He served as Puducherry's Lieutenant Governor from 2004 to 2006 and was recognized for his military service and administrative leadership, including relief efforts during the 2004 tsunami.
