Uttar Pradesh's draft voter list, to be published on December 31, will contain approximately 12.55 crore names after nearly 2.89 crore were deleted during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa stated that the largest deletion category comprises 1.26 crore migrant voters, followed by deceased and duplicate entries. Those removed can reapply from January 1. Over 1 crore voters are in an 'unmapped' category requiring document submission for verification.
