Haryana CM Inaugurates 38th Vasant Utsav, Announces Environmental Initiatives

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the 38th Vasant Utsav in Panchkula, marking the event's first organization modeled after the Surajkund Mela. The festival features various cultural and creative competitions and reopened the local cactus garden after maintenance. Saini highlighted the state's environmental initiatives, including the Pran Vayu Devta Pension Scheme supporting caretakers of trees over 75 years old, the establishment of 20 'Oxyvans' for tree planting, and efforts to link conservation with tourism and development.
