Uttar Pradesh Launches One District-One Cuisine Scheme to Promote Traditional Foods

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched the One District-One Cuisine (ODOC) scheme to promote the state's traditional dishes nationally and internationally. Modeled after the One District-One Product initiative, ODOC aims to provide quality assurance, branding, and market access to local artisans and small entrepreneurs. The scheme highlights district-specific specialties like Mainpuri's sonpapdi and Mathura's peda, emphasizing food safety, hygiene, and cultural heritage to boost economic opportunities and preserve culinary identity.
