
Haryana's Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested a state government employee and four others, including former IDFC First Bank staff and private individuals, in connection with a ₹590 crore fraud at the bank's Chandigarh branch involving government-linked accounts. A Special Investigation Team led by IPS officer Ganga Ram Punia is probing the case. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reported recovering nearly ₹556 crore within 24 hours.
