Arunachal Pradesh plans to introduce a digital governance system with local language interfaces to improve understanding of government schemes among tribal communities. The initiative, discussed with Chief Minister Pema Khandu, may start as a pilot covering two or three tribes and use Roman script for languages without standard scripts. Digital screens will be installed in villages, with panchayat leaders trained to operate them. The system will also enable online monitoring of administrative functions, including staff postings and transfers, to enhance transparency and accountability.
