Uttar Pradesh Grants Special Leave and Ensures Fair Conduct for UPTET-2026 Candidates
The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has announced special leave for serving Basic Education Department teachers appearing for the UPTET-2026 exam scheduled on July 2-4, 2026. The government emphasized ensuring a fair, transparent, and secure examination environment for all candidates, including adequate logistics and facilities. Additionally, a separate TET will be conducted for in-service teachers to provide them more opportunities to establish eligibility.
