Hundreds of power consumers in Lucknow are experiencing low voltage, frequent disruptions, and appliance damage due to unfulfilled electricity load upgrades. Residents who paid for increased load capacity report that their single-phase meters were not replaced with three-phase meters, despite updated billing records. Over 500 consumers across several areas are affected, leading to voltage fluctuations and power outages. Complaints to the Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) and through official channels have reportedly yielded no resolution, leaving consumers to draw higher loads through outdated equipment.
