Himachal Police Detain Delhi Officers Over Unauthorized Arrests of Youth Congress Workers

Himachal Pradesh Police detained around 20 Delhi Police officers after they arrested three Youth Congress workers in Rohru, Shimla, without informing local authorities. The Delhi Police had apprehended the workers in connection with a shirtless protest at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. Himachal Police deemed the arrests unauthorized, intercepted the convoy near Dharampur, and released the workers, producing them in a local court. Delhi Police have registered FIRs against 11 Youth Congress members, while Congress leaders criticized the actions as politically motivated.
