The Maharashtra government has abolished the Non-Agricultural (NA) tax for all urban housing societies, waiving all past, present, and future dues including arrears and penalties. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced a simplified, digitized system replacing the annual tax with a one-time Conversion Tax based on Ready Reckoner rates, varying by construction size.
