Kerala Assembly Constituencies Vamanapuram and Nilambur: Profiles and 2021 Election Results

The Vamanapuram and Nilambur Assembly constituencies are among Kerala's 140 legislative seats, both general and unreserved. In 2021, DK Murali of the CPI(M) won Vamanapuram by 10,242 votes, while Independent candidate PV Anvar secured Nilambur by 2,700 votes. Both constituencies fall under different Lok Sabha seats and have diverse voter demographics. Ahead of the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections, the Election Commission is conducting a Special Intensive Revision to update electoral rolls, last done in 2002, aiming to include all eligible voters.
