Roshni Aparanji Korati, an IAS officer from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has become the first woman Deputy Chairperson of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA). Korati, who has a background in journalism and extensive administrative experience at various levels, including central deputation, assumed charge on December 29, 2025. She is a Visakhapatnam native and a recipient of the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
