Government Reports Isolated Suspected Food Poisoning Cases in Eklavya Model Schools

A few isolated cases of suspected food poisoning and infections have been reported in some Eklavya Model Residential Schools, according to Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Durgadas Uikey in the Lok Sabha. Affected students received medical care, and corrective measures were taken by school authorities in coordination with state EMRS societies. The National Education Society for Tribal Students has issued guidelines on hygienic food preparation, mess management, and health monitoring, including engagement of medical staff and provision for emergency transport to safeguard student health.
