The Communist Party of India (CPI) commemorated its 100th foundation day with a district council meeting. Leaders highlighted the party's history of struggle, its role in the freedom movement, and its objective of establishing a socialist system. Speakers alleged that ruling parties and the RSS are weakening democratic institutions and distorting history, while also claiming minorities, women, and Dalits face attacks. The event also marked the martyrdom anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh's younger Sahibzadas and paid tribute to Shaheed Udham Singh.
