Navneet Chaturvedi, who claimed to have the support of 13 MLAs for Rajya Sabha bypolls, has been released from jail after 70 days. He was arrested for allegedly forging signatures. Chaturvedi, identified as the Janata Party's national president and a political analyst, stated he was falsely accused and that the AAP government would have fallen if scrutiny occurred on December 14. He plans to remain in Chandigarh for a year.
