Odisha Government Highlights Support for Odia Diaspora at Odisha Utsav in Kolkata

The Odisha government, represented by Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare and development of the Odia diaspora during the inaugural 'Odisha Utsav' in Kolkata. Suraj highlighted the diaspora's role as cultural ambassadors promoting Odisha's art, literature, and heritage globally. The event featured exhibitions of traditional cuisine, handloom, and handicrafts, and recognized distinguished Odia writers. The minister also acknowledged the contributions of Odia women in preserving cultural values and emphasized diaspora participation in achieving the Viksit Odisha-2036 vision.
