Rajasthan Private Bus Operators End Strike After Government Talks

A three-day strike by private bus operators in Rajasthan ended after talks with the transport department and district officials, including Jaipur District Collector Jitendra Soni and Transport Commissioner Purushottam Sharma. The operators agreed to resume services following a consensus on some demands, with remaining issues to be addressed after the state assembly's budget session. The strike had disrupted travel statewide, triggered by enforcement actions after a fatal bus fire incident in October 2023.
