Discussions are also in advanced stages with Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, and prospective sites have been shortlisted in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. NTPC aims to develop approximately 35-36 sites nationwide for nuclear power generation, building on its existing project in Rajasthan.
