Malvinder Singh Kang, MP from Sri Anandpur Sahib, has requested the Punjab Police establish a new police station in Sector 125, Kharar. He cited growing law-and-order concerns due to rapid urbanization and a population surge to nearly 60,000 in the area. Kang stated the current Kharar police station is 10 kilometers away, leading to delayed responses in emergencies. A dedicated station would improve response times and enhance resident safety and security.
