Intelligence agencies report that Bangladesh-based terror groups, Harkat-ul-Jihad Islami (HuJI) and Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), are shifting tactics by using proxies and forming homegrown outfits in India to maintain deniability. This strategy mirrors that of LeT and JeM. Released cadres are reportedly operating with a free hand, focusing attacks on India. Modules are using aliases to evade security agencies, with a recent example being the Imam Mahamude Kafila (IMK) module busted in Assam and Tripura.
