President Droupadi Murmu's Jalandhar Convocation Visit Cancelled Due to Weather

President Droupadi Murmu's scheduled visit to Jalandhar for the 21st convocation of Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was cancelled due to adverse weather and poor visibility. The convocation proceeded as planned with Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria attending. The President had earlier addressed a convocation in Amritsar, where the state government hosted a dinner in her honour. Extensive security measures were implemented for the planned visit, including a temporary no-flying zone.
