Union Minister Jitendra Singh stated that Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) institutes will be central to India's biomanufacturing and biosciences development under the BioE3 policy, aiming for a 'Viksit Bharat 2047'. He inaugurated the new BRIC Secretariat in New Delhi, designed to coordinate 14 autonomous institutions while preserving their autonomy. The initiative emphasizes a collaborative, whole-of-government approach to enhance India's global standing in biotechnology research and innovation.
