Uttar Pradesh Signs MoU to Expand High-Speed Broadband in Rural Areas Under Project Ganga

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with ONEOTT iNTERTAINMENT Limited, a Hinduja Group subsidiary, under 'Project Ganga' to expand high-speed broadband in rural and semi-urban areas. The initiative aims to connect over 20 lakh households, empower 8,000 to 10,000 local entrepreneurs as Digital Service Providers, and promote around 50% women participation. It is expected to generate significant employment and enhance digital access across the state.
