Madhya Pradesh Authorities Demolish Illegal Hotel for Lack of Permits and Unpaid Dues

In Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh, the district administration and Nagar Palika demolished the illegal hotel Azad Palace on Monday. The demolition occurred because the hotel, owned by Azad, Shahid, and Rashid Khan, was constructed without necessary permissions and had outstanding electricity dues of approximately Rs 5 lakh. Authorities stated that the owners received multiple notices prior to the action. Separately, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated development projects worth Rs 129 crore in Ujjain, including youth-focused initiatives.
