Punjab Police Arrest 49 Suspected TTP Members in Intelligence Operations

Pakistan's Punjab police arrested 49 members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during 425 intelligence-based operations over the past month. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) recovered explosives, weapons, and banned materials, alleging the suspects planned attacks on key buildings. Forty-four cases have been registered, and investigations continue. The CTD also claimed one detainee is linked to an Indian spy agency, though no evidence was provided.
