The funds, approved during a cabinet telephone meeting, aim to replenish munitions, acquire advanced weapons systems, and address critical combat needs. Prime Minister Netanyahu's government has not detailed specific purchases, while Foreign Minister Gideon Saar denied reports of shortages in missile interceptors. The allocation is drawn from the state budget approved earlier in March.
