This promotion, effective January 1, 2026, sees Shyni S continuing her role heading the Crime against Women and Children Wing. Other officers, including Soorya Thankappan, Satyajit Naik, and Umashankar Dash, also received promotions to ADG and Inspector General (IGP) ranks, with some receiving proforma promotions while on central deputation.
