Newly elected panchayati raj representatives in Kurung Kumey district took their oaths on Saturday in a two-phase ceremony. Gram panchayat members were sworn in at circle headquarters, while Zilla Parishad members were inducted at the mini-secretariat. Newly elected Zilla Parishad Chairperson Bake Yama thanked constituents and party members, pledging to focus on district development with support from local MLAs.
