The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has removed Ravinder Jamwal from his additional charge of the Flight Standards Directorate (FSD). Jamwal, who was also Director of Operations, has been reassigned to the Airspace and Air Navigation Services (ANS) section. This transfer occurred shortly before a four-member panel submitted its report on the recent massive flight disruptions by IndiGo. Jamwal had overseen FDTL norms and was a point of contact for inspections related to the IndiGo crisis. The DGCA has not provided a reason for the transfer.
