Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray met Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray as the deadline for filing nominations for upcoming civic polls concluded. The meeting is seen as an effort to finalize seat-sharing arrangements for the elections, including the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT) are allied for these polls, joined by NCP (SP) in Mumbai. The BMC election is considered crucial for Uddhav Thackeray to regain control of the civic body.
