A fact-finding committee at KGMU, investigating allegations of forced religious conversion by a doctor, has been expanded to seven members. The panel is accepting evidence via email and has refuted claims of disproportionate minority representation among contractual staff. The committee detailed the number of minority employees across KGMU and the pathology department, stating that out of 3,995 contractual non-teaching employees, 289 are from minority communities. Another panel has been formed to issue media statements regarding the allegations.
