Karnataka Assembly Speaker Requests Probe into Aadhaar Cards Found on Riverbank

Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U. T. Khader has requested the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to investigate the discovery of numerous Aadhaar cards discarded along the Netravati riverbank near Pudu village, Mangaluru, on March 3. Local residents and the Pudu Gram Panchayat president collected the cards and informed Mr. Khader, who has called for a thorough probe to determine how the cards were discarded and to identify those responsible, urging prompt legal action.
