Maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar have taken measures to assist citizens stranded in Dubai amid Middle East tensions. Shinde personally contacted tourists and arranged a charter flight for Pune-based students and staff unable to return due to airspace closures. Pawar highlighted continuous government monitoring, coordination with authorities, and launched a dedicated WhatsApp helpline to provide timely support and ensure the safety and return of affected Maharashtrians.
