Andhra Pradesh CM Highlights Focus on Intra-Linking Rivers and Polavaram Project Progress

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the government's focus on intra-linking rivers within the state, particularly from Vamsadhara to Penna, as an immediate priority aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's advice. He highlighted plans to complete the Polavaram project before the 2027 Pushkarams and promised to supply water through the Veligonda Project's first phase by July. Naidu stressed the importance of amicable water sharing among states and credited past leaders for initiating key irrigation projects, while criticizing opposition to certain projects and previous government neglect.
