Karnataka Lokayukta Conducts Raids on Government Officials Over Asset Allegations

On March 5, Karnataka Lokayukta officials conducted simultaneous raids at residences and offices of several government officials across multiple districts, including Bengaluru, Hassan, and Hubballi, targeting alleged disproportionate assets. At Hassan, officials faced difficulty entering the residence of Assistant Executive Engineer M.C. Satyanarayana, waiting nearly three hours before gaining access. Searches also took place at the home of Chief Engineer Vasantappa Nayak in Hubballi. The raids were part of a broader investigation into asset irregularities.
