
The Telangana government will credit the first installment of ₹3,590 crore under the Rythu Bharosa investment support scheme to about 70 lakh farmers owning up to one acre of land on March 22, 2026. This support provides ₹6,000 per acre for the ongoing Rabi season. Subsequent installments of ₹2,650 crore and ₹2,860 crore are planned within 20 days and by April-end, respectively, totaling ₹9,000 crore for the season. The government emphasized its commitment despite financial constraints.
