Karnataka-registered vehicles are facing fines of up to Rs 10,000 in other states due to their Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) data not being linked to the national Vahan portal. Automated traffic enforcement systems in states like Odisha and Goa flag these vehicles as non-compliant, even with valid PUCCs. Motorists report receiving incorrect e-challans, with some vehicles older than one year being flagged. State transport minister R Ramalinga Reddy has assured that the issue will be discussed and rectified.
