
Telangana poet and writer Nandini Sidha Reddy has been awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award 2025 for his poetry anthology 'Animesha', which reflects on the COVID-19 pandemic and Telangana's cultural identity. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other leaders congratulated him, highlighting his contributions to modern Telangana literature and the Telangana movement. Reddy, a former Telugu lecturer and literary organizer, is recognized nationally among 24 awardees across Indian languages.
