
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced its entry into the upcoming civic elections in Bhiwandi and Navi Mumbai, aiming to contest the maximum number of seats. The party has screened candidates for 30 of 90 seats in Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation and plans to field 111 candidates in Navi Mumbai. AAP will also contest in Thane, targeting 100 out of 131 seats. Their campaign will focus on civic issues like roads, water, sanitation, and alleged corruption, promising a governance model of transparency and public welfare.
